Blessed is the man who listens to GOD

Blessed is the man who listens to me,

Do your best to present yourself to God

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

slow to become angry

“ My dear brothers, take note of this:

O God, you will not despise

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;

LORD looks at the heart

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

There is nothing hidden

Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness

Watch and pray

LORD is a God of justice.

       Blessed are all who wait for him!

I the LORD will answer

The poor and needy search for water,
       but there is none;
       their tongues are parched with thirst.

Those who look to him are radiant

Prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” ( James 5:16 )

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD,
thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me,
 and I will hearken unto you.”

                                                 ( Jeremiah 29:11-12 )

Seek the LORD while he may be found

Seek the LORD while he may be found;
       call on him while he is near.
 Let the wicked forsake his way
       and the evil man his thoughts.
       Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him,
       and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
